Things to Do
Vail is filled with fun activities and beautiful sights. We have included a few of our favorite things to do in the summertime in the mountains. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Forest Flyer Alpine Coaster
If you make it to the top of the mountain via hike or Gondola, there are plenty of activities. One of the most fun is the Alpine Slide! There are also ropes courses, bungee jump trampolines, and plenty of photo ops (see our engagement photos)!
Our Favorite Hikes
Gore Creek Trailhead
Jordan grew up hiking this trail, and this is where Jordan and Ethan went on their first backpacking trip together!
Berry Picker Trailhead
This hike starts from Lionshead (right by our reception venue) and brings you 3.2 miles up to the top of the mountain. The views are gorgeous and you can avoid buying a lift ticket!
*This is a very steep hike, so please don't try it if you are altitude sick at all. The top of Vail Mountain is 11,570 feet of elevation.
